CY Hughley is an amazing writer that plans to take the world by storm with his latest book B.A.B. CY was raised in the mean streets of Southside Jamaica Queens. He was raised by his mom and grandparents that instilled to him the importance of reading. CY first discovered his talent of writing at the age of 5. At this time he wrote his first short story in school about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. His love for writing remained a big part of his life. As a teenager, he began to stray away from writing and he allowed the streets to dictate what he should do. This led to several run ins with the law. While serving time in prison, CY went back to his one true love, writing. This is what let him to write his first book titled Bad Ass Bitches (B.A.B.). It is also where he decided to change his life for the better. He is now determined to be a living example to others. He speaks to the youth stating that "No matter what you go through in life, you have the ability to change and become a better person. It is never too late to be a positive influence in the world. You just have to take the first and hardest step which is just to do it. Once you make the change, your life will be so much better and rewarding." CY is going to release several more books. He is also a writer of children's books and will be releasing a children's book series as well. CY is a rapper and he is getting ready to release his new single which will be the first release from the soundtrack for the book titled B.A.B. It will also be his introduction to the rap world. Rapper CY has been in the rap game for many years as a local talent in his neighborhood. He is known throughout his hometown of Southside, Queens as one of the premiere rappers, but he is now embarking on taking the music industry by storm. CY is an inspiration to his community as well. He has dedicated his life to inspiring the youth by mentoring to them about the importance of staying in school and taking their education very serious. He is planning on going into the schools to inspire the youth with the message "that at all odds you can achieve anything you want in life with hard work and determination". He is hoping that his life will serve as a living example to the youth and that they will truly strive to be all that they can be. Writer, Rapper, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, CY is all of these things but more importantly he is a person determined to change the world for the better.
