Summary: Bertie was a bold black pig who, roused by Marlow Church bells practising for Christmas, sets out with the rabbits, Peter and Benjue to sing carols. Illustrated by Ernest H. Shepard, who also did the illustrations for Grahame's "Wind in the Willows". Charming.
