New York: A.L. Burt, 1907. 8vo size light green pictorial hardcover; 291 pages. Glossy black and white frontispiece opposite title page. Black and white drawings are throughout the text by Robert A. Graef. Author Joseph C. Lincoln (1870 - 1944) was best known for his more than 40 novels, many of which were set in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Artist Robert A. Graef (1879 - 1951) was an American illustrator of books and periodicals, including Argosy and Woman's Home Companion. Significant edgewear, and significant bump to head and heel of spine; corners are bumped. Pages are tanned. There are two small spots on bottom of book and soil to outside pages. There are two small holes in front pastedown. The blank page after the fep is separated at the top. There is an inscription in ball point pen on the reverse of title page. There is a crease to top corner of page 111, soil to top corner of page 49 and 129 and on the blank page opposite page 181, and a chip to the outside edge of page 269/270. Soil to covers and rep and inside back cover. Book is slightly cocked. . Pictorial Cover. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Graef, Robert A.. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
