(4.4 x 6.4 inches). 12 unnumbered leaves, the pages sewn in with a tied braided cord. Each leaf has a dark green rule and dot border, the text printed in black with green initial letters. Original beige paper covered boards. The title and author printed onto the front board, but with the addition of a large green initial letter, in black, with a green rule and dot border. In the rare original plain glassine wrapper, with the chamfered corner on the turn ins, as per Richards' biblography. There is some chipping to the edges of the wrapper but generally it is in very good condition. Neat previous owner bookplate to the front pastedown endpaper. A split to the bottom of the spine but overall a very good and attractive copy of this uncommon little book, rare with the fragile original wrapper. ---- Published on 28th March 1912 in two binding variants; beige printed paper covered boards, issued at 25 cents, and this delux leather version at 50 cents. -- Richards A254.
