New York: Charles S. Francis & Co., 1843. Hardcover. Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 287pp. Brown stamped cloth, gilt spine lettering and decoration. Chipping to head and tail of spine (corner chiped at top), corners rubbed. First and last few pages most heavily foxed, most o text occasionally foxed. An uncommon copy published by Francis & Co. of their Library for School Districts and Families. Included are articles on voyages and travels, science, natural history, art, literature and religion. Illustrated with engravings.
