Publisher's black cloth hardcovers, gilt stamped/embossed design/title, features Eye of Sauron on front boards, illustrated text with fold-out map of the lands adhered to rear inside boards, color illustrated covers and slipcase.
Slipcase measures: 9.5 x 6.25 x 4 inches. Each book measures; 9 x 4 x 1.25 inches.
Condition notes: Book condition: Fine. Dust jackets and slipcase: Good-very good; wear commensurate with age and use [e.g. Spine covers chipped at crown/heel (The Return of the King reinforced with old transparent tape repair at both ends), gently rubbed edges, slipcase has slim tear at upper rear edge, see images. Synopsis
