About This Item
London: Eyre & Spottiswood, 1940. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. The internal pages are clean and fresh, with few signs of previous use. However, the front and rear end papers have browned, and there is a gift inscription to a former owner on the front free end paper. The red covers are bright, showing light wear only. The dust jacket is not price-clipped and is in good condition. The original price has been covered with a new label (9 shillings), and there is visible edge wear and chipping at the top of the spine area. The attached scan gives a better idea of condition. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover.
