About This Item
New York: Henry Holt and Company, 1916. First Edition. Near Fine. First Edition, First Printing. First issue with a line repeated on page 88, and "come" instead of "gone" on page 93. Near Fine with a small indent to spine at title, though gilt remains very bright and sharp and the cloth is fresh. Previous owner name to front free endpaper. Pages toned and light foxing to textblock edge. Lacking the dust jacket. A superior copy of the first issue, in much nicer shape than as normally found in.
