FIRST EDITION 1784. 4to, approximately 260 x 195 mm, 10 x 7½ inches, woodcut vignette to title page, large floral headpiece to first page, pages: [2], 1-34, rebound in quarter calf with gilt lettered label and gilt decoration to spine over paper boards, vellum tips to corners, new endpapers, edges stained red. Pale age-browning throughout, last page has brown stained corners (see attached image), occasional small brown spot. Very good copy with attractive spine. Small 8vo, approximately 165 x 100 mm, 6½ x 4 inches, pages: [16], 1-238, woodcut vignette to title page and 3 others as tailpieces, rebound in modern panelled calf, maroon and black gilt lettered morocco labels to spine, extra gilt spine with raised bands, new marbled endpapers, marbled edges. Pale age-browning throughout, tip of top corner missing from last page nowhere near text, the first 3 letters in the publisher's imprint are missing, printer's error, otherwise a very good copy.
