Translated by Edith Grossman this is a collection of short stories from the Nobel Prize winning author of "One Hundred Years of Solitude." Although not noted this copy came from the library/estate of literary and cultural critic John Leonard and he creased the top corner of numerous pages and made some brackets and marks throughout the text for his review for the NPR program Fresh Air. Thus about good copy in printed wrappers that are somewhat soiled and with a chip to the bottom rear corner. An interesting copy with a nice provenance.
