There is a former owner's inscription on the first flyleaf, based on the inscription and the original price of $12.95 printed next to the ISBN code on the back cover, this is most likely a 1988 edition. Un-paginated, approx. 66 pages. The story of Lawson's parent's and grandparents, how they came to America, what they did during the Civil War, and how they lived in Minnesota. Illustrated throughout in Lawson's distinctive style. There is sun fading to the spine, and also areas of fading to the front and back cover, about 1" X 1" areas next to the spine. Some dots of edge wear to the boards and tips of the corners. Not a library discard, no further writing besides that inscription. Binding is tight and square.
