Whipping Star, first published in 1970, and The Dosadi Experiment (1977), are the first and second full-length novels set in the ConSentiency universe, established by Herbert in his short stories "A Matter of Traces" and "The Tactful Saboteur".
The Santaroga Barrier (1968) was originally serialised in Amazing Stories magazine between October 1967 and February 1968; Soul Catcher was first published in 1972. Octavo. Original blue cloth, titles to spine gold. With dust jacket. Very slight lean to spine, spine ends and tips a touch rubbed, occasional mark to rear board else bright and clean, internally fresh and bright. A near-fine copy in the bright jacket, free from nicks and tears, touch of toning to flaps and very negligible creasing to head of spine, else fine.
