A very lightly worn copy with staple holding well, slight wear to covers. A very attractive copy. Better than average.

Burgess, each approximately 6.5" by 8.5", each with 13 printed pages and each with extremely bright color and B&W illustrations by Harrison Cady. The six books are: Unc' Billy Possum has a Fright; Peter Rabbit Puts on Airs; Jerry Muskrat Wins Respect; Jumper the Hare Cannot Sleep; Buster Bear Invites Old Mr. Toad to Dine; and Grandfather Frog Stays in the Smiling Pool. All of the books are illustrated in color and B&W by Harrison Cady. Extremely rare.. Four of the books contain a brief gift inscription (in pencil) on the title page dated Christmas 1925, and one contains the owner's name and date (December 25, 1925) in the "My Book" box on the fep, but all are otherwise unmarked.
