The first of the larger sections covers the "possible resources" plus the annual revenues and civil & military charges for the three Presidencies and centres of commerce: Bengal (Fort William), Madras (Fort St. George) and Bombay with a few brief sections on Fort Marlborough (Indonesia), St Helena and the factory at Canton.
