In overall good-to-very good used condition with minor signs of age, handling and storage - dj is rubbed to edges and spine slightly tanned, with small chips at spine head and corners; red cloth boards lightly rubbed to edges with slight bump to front upper rh corner. Internally clean. Binding tight and appears little read; no annotations or inscriptions; toning to page-ends but text bright and clear throughout. Not an old library book.

A Near Fine copy of this undated (c.1937) romantic novel and presumed to be the First Edition (code number C338 on back of title page). In Scarlet-red glossy boards with bright gilt titling and bright gilt logo to the spine. In the charming, and very attractively designed, pictorial period jacket by Alex Jardine. Some dusty storage wear to the extremitites, but considering this is a white based d/j it is in lovely condition! Very Good plus overall with NO tears or chips. The d/j is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks FINE. Some tan spotting to the page fore-edges and to the top margins of the first few pages but insignificant and internally almost MINT. Looks unread. Normal 8vo novel size.
