The text of this appreciation of the man and his works is printed in English and Greek, in an edition of 1250 copies, after a design by Matthew Jennett, of which three hundred were bound in boards, and 26 reserved for presentation.

Trypanis", is a letter from Patrick Leigh Fermor to Oxford professor Trypanis in English and Greek about the contemporary Cretan poet who translated both the Illiad and The Odyssey into his native language.
