Pictorial wraps. 211pp. Illus. An important early book in the Bigfoot genre, and by one of the "big four" researchers of the early days. Green's first book was published under this title in 1968, but this reprint combined material from that book and his second book, Year of the Sasquatch. Noteworthy is that Ballantine republished this edition in 1974 and 1975, also in mass market paperback, but with different covers. Vg copy, perhaps near fine.

Fifth edition, stated, of the author’s early work on the legends, sightings, and reports of Sasquatch, Bigfoot, Mountain Devil, Smy-a-likh, Bushman, Dsonoqua, Omah, Bukwas, Seeahtik, Wild Man, and Creek Devil. Green has included such incidents as Big Foot and Sasquatch at Ruby Creek, Bluff Creek, Blue Creek Mountain, Roger Patterson’s Movie, Ape Canyon to Estacada, and others.

Maps. The Cheam editions totaled, we believe, five before the title started coming out as a mass market paperback, and then back to Cheam for another edition, and then Hancock House for more! This title deserves to be called one of the classics of sasquatch literature. It is arguably the third title of this subject matter, preceded by Sanderson and Patterson. I lived in Vancouver, BC, at the time it was first issued and I was excited about it. I didn't enough sense or savvy to try to visit Green at that time.
