Panels have moderate edge wear with chips, tears, and creasing.

Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. The unclipped dust jacket has heavy edge wear, with tears, chips and areas of loss. Moderate tanning to spine and edges.

A companion volume to the publisher's 'Historic Haunts of Scotland' and 'England Under Trust'. The dustwrapper has two A. & C. Black price labels to spine and front flap with a revised, and higher, price of eight shillings and sixpence; the original price being 7/6. My understanding is A. & C. Black took on several of Maclehose's titles in the late 1930s. Hardback. Publisher's green cloth with title in blue to spine and front board.
