Pages and plates are lightly tanned and foxed throughout, slightly heavier to endpapers. Minor pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Scuffing and speckled white marking overall.

There are no other library markings or stamps whatsoever. Apart from these slight traces of library label removal, this is a very clean, tight Near Fine copy in original gilt-lettered burgundy cloth..
