Scribner's Classic Edition together with publisher's original decorative box. Book condition: fine. A very clean and sound copy which has obviously benefited from being kept in its original box. Black cloth covered boards with pictorial on-lay to front and gilt titles to spine. Top edge of text block tinted pale orange. Original decorative box in good condition - it has lost one long edge of top but ia still robust. Pictorial on-lay to front and title with $2.50 price label to lower edge. Base of box very sound with some fade/discolouration to decorative paper and a little rubbing here and there. Top of box, as mentioned, has lost one long side but the remaining structure is sound.
