Mew York: Harper & Brothers, 1861. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good+. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, dark brown cloth boards with leather to spine. Exterior shows scuffing and spotting along with edge and corner bumps/wear. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues except for some pulling in spots. Pages are toned due to age and there is some foxing and spotting present, as well as a few corner folds and small dampstains - which are mainly in the corners of the rear pages. The front end page shows the original owner's info written upside down in pencil and the rear end page/pastedown also has some penciling. Also included with the book is a piece of ephemera. It is about the size of a bookplate with the backside gummed (but not used) the title on the ephemera reads "L. L. Ticket) along with four names for salutatory, oration, periodical, and debate.
