Light tanning to spine and edges with a small split to spine end. Book has a subtle forward lean.

The corners of book are bumped and rubbed and shelf wear is evident to the bottom edges of book. Head and heel of spine are bumped and soft. The front and back panel have mildew residue. The internal pages are brown. Photographic/illustrated dustwrapper, photograph of a New Guinea Highlander overlaying an illustrated painting of New Guinea village, black & white writing front panel and red and black on spine. Corners of the dustwrapper are rubbed, as are the fore edges. Chipping has occurred to the top and bottom dustwrapper edge, particularly on spine.
