Bound in 1/4 black leather over brown cloth, spine lettering gilt, a few small stains to outer margins of last few leaves not extending to text, some corner wear, lacks one front endpaper. Very good.

Included are chapters on eclipses, tides, astronomical instruments, temporary stars, fixed stars, and more. The attractive frontispiece shows a full moon and a five day waxing moon.
