Haddon, in Finsbury, Ireland, has printed this copy for Longman, Orme, Brown, Green, and Longmans, a further contribution to the so-called Heath's Annual series, and it has been simply and sturdily rebound in a thin green linen cloth over boards Imperial octavo format and with gilt lettering over dark green cloth label at spine, lightly abraded. The author's "Advertisement" notes that this is to be the final of the volumes. Seventeen chapters and then 19 engravings after the drawings of D. McClise and T. Creswick in duotone. Engravings are elaborate and evocative, protected by paper guards. New stiff endpapers and then foxed and toned original endpapers and then a remarkably clean and bright interior but for some foxing to engraving edges and toning recto.
