Light spotting to fore-edges of text-blocks and very occ. internally o/w. nr. fine to fine. Still the best drawings of British plants. Stella Ross-Craig (who died in February 2006), is said to be the finest and most comprehensive illustrator of British Flora, described by Wilfred Blunt as unrivalled in her field. Her Drawings of British Plants took 26 years to complete and comprises 1,306 plates.
