New York: Privately Printed, 1930. Wilde's fascination with "The Satyricon" is well-known, and since the earliest edition of this translation (in 1902), his authorship has been accepted. This is a Very Good (Plus) to Near Fine copy of the First Edition Thus, anonymously printed in an edition LIMITED to 1200 copies (although this copy has not been numbered). Black cloth binding with gilt lettering on the spine. Clean text; 236 pages, roughly-cut and with most unopened. Tipped-in bookplate of an interesting design on the front paste-down.
