However, boards and pages throughout remain attached. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Staining to some pages, text remains readable. In very good bright red cloth boards, with blind stamped ruled lines and decoration to front with gilt titles and gilt decoration and decoration to back strip. The covers are straight, clean and very tight. Unmarked black end papers. Foxed and tanned cut edges. The text block is tightly bound, square and with light foxing throughout. Brief dedication facing half title page. Black and white frontispiece with tissue guard and other plates in the text. Very good minus condition. No jacket.
