Boston: Chapman & Grimes, Inc., (1947), 1947. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Good. 115 pages. Dust Jacket protected in a mylar sleeve. Dust jacket has two small closed tears and very small chips, not price clipped. Former owner's name (a North Carolina Reverend) on the front paste down and front free end paper. From the dust jacket flap, "A Negro Reverend looks at the racial situation in the South and points out the responsibility of religious leaders to clarify such situations by making their teachings practical and keyed to the problems of the times. The author traces the causes of this racial problem from colonial days to the present and offers his ideas for the betterment of his race." An uncommon book.
