Very good-- (sunned and soiled edges, light edgewear) in very good-- dust jacket (sunned spine and top edges, chipped spine edges, light edgewear otherwise, now in Brodart for improved appearance and protection). Along with the book is the program for the first performance at the EDINBURGH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MUSIC AND DRAMA, 22 August - 10 September, 1949, which predates the publication of the book. It contains the cast list, including Alec Guinness and Cathleen Nesbitt. It is in remarkably good condition for such an impermanent item--light edgewear, a couple of pinholes at the top and bottom of the spine, original (?) tape at side. See scans.
