Thanking the addressee for his friendly exertions in undertaking to have made by Verhelfs (?) a copper-engraving of a portrait of Cardinal Ximenes and sending him the drawing of Ximenes by Kraus which is to serve as the basis for the engraving. Wieland insists he must have the proof plate by the end of March and that it must furnish 2500 impressions. He also requests that Mann greet Schwan and his Madonna and beg him to oblige him by despatching two stitched copies of Rosamund on his account to Caspar Bölling in Frankfurt and Peter Much in Amsterdam. He also writes with regards to communications with Savioli. 4to. pp. 2. (2 dampspots, edges little chipped).
