Description:
London & Hanover: Andreas Linde & I. W. Schmidt.. Good+. 1753. First Edition. Paperback. Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 19 pages; 1753 Andreas Linde & I. W. Schmidt, London & Hanover. 1st edition. Presumably as issued, this example essentially in self wraps, with title page serving as the front cover. Slim patterned paper over the sewn spine edge. 19 pp. Mild soil to edges of the title page/cover and the blank verso of the last printed page. This example does not have the single engraved plate for which the bibliographies call. Scarce, with only two copies recorded in institutions indexed in Worldcat. Mylius studied medicine, did some general science writing, some exploring and tried his hand at literature as well. This paper was apparently the fruit of his 1753 expedition to Greenland. G++ thus .
