Summary: The Monguor live in the Qilian Mountains and on the banks of the Huang and Datong rivers in Qinghai and Gansu provinces in northwestern China. Father Louis Schram, a Belgian missionary priest, was in the area from 1911-1922. This work is the first volume of 3, which stretched from 1954 to 1961.
