A Beautiful copy! Copyright 1933/1949. Limited Editions Club. Green slip case has some wear and has been reinforced in some places with tape. Shows minor soiling on the end. Boards are in very good condition with the exception of the front board starting to break away from the book. Spine of book shows minor discoloration. The cover is in very good condition. It has been kept in the slip cover and the only wear is on the corners of the book. The inside pages are pristine--clean, not torn and the corners are not bent. No writing or highlighting. No names. 1923 copy. Most likely a first edition. No DJ. Maroon boards with gilt lettering on cover and probably spine. Spine is faded and unreadable. Book shows moderate wear, especially at the top and bottom of the spine and at the ends. Front hinge is somewhat loose but securely connected. Pages have tanned with age. I only see a tear on one page; the corners are not bent.

This 1960 collection of stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle contains 6 stories, including "A Study in Scarlet." Dust jacket is in good condition with some edge ware. It has some old tape on what looks like a 2" tear. It is price clipped. There is a short inscription on the first endpage. The book is in very good condition. Written in 1969, this 25th anniversary edition was released in 1994. Dust cover is in near fine condition. There is a minor amount of wear at the base of the spine (more wrinkling than wear) and on the inside of the dust cover at the base, it looks like the dark color of the boards has come off onto the dust jacket. Otherwise, no other wear is seen on the DC. Boards are a dark grey with a black spine and are in near fine condition. Title and author are written in gilt along the spine. End papers show black and white illustrations of Dresden after the bombing. No signs of previous ownership. Pages are clean, not torn and the corners are not bent. One page has a small, light coffee stain-front & back. Nonsmoking.
