Covers are clean with very light edge wear and bruising on the corners. Spine is faded and ends are slightly worn but not frayed.Pages aged well with no stains or foxing noted. No markings noted, except for a pencil notation "1906 1st" on the FFEP.

210 pages. Judging by the dates of some of the books on the back of the dust jacket, this book was likely printed circa 1917. Dust jacket is clean, but chipped with a small tear-out (~1/4" x 1") on the front. Covers have square corners with very light bruising. Pages are clean with no foxing, and no markings noted except for an owner name, address and date (Aug 6, 1921) on the FFEP.

Stated First Edition. 209 pages. "The two novella-length stories in this volume support Alan Lomax's profound conviction that the Southern Negro folk singer stands at the creative center of American popular culture." The dust jacket is clipped and appears lightly soiled in a protective cover. There may be a few very small chips. Cover is very clean with square corners and a straight spine. Pages are clean and crisp with no markings noted. There is some light staining on the inside of the free endpapers which appears to be original.

First Edition. 317 pages. Aviation in a 1910's western. No dust jacket, but covers are remarkably clean with light bruising on the corners and slight fraying on the bottom spine. Light green writing on the front cover and spine still contrasts with the dark green cloth. Pages are very clean with no markings noted other than lightly penciled notations on the FFEP.

Photoplay Edition. 421 pages. Illustrations by N.C. Wyeth, and b/w photos of the silent-movie production. Covers are stained, bruised, rubbed and frayed - after all, this book is over 100 years old. Pages are clean with no markings noted except for an inked name on the FFEP.
