Description:
This is a beautiful copy of a very collectable Noddy first edition. The book is in close to Mint condition - unmarked, no creases, and the "This Book Belongs To..." box is clear. Just a very small bookseller sticker to the inner back cover - Northcotes, High St., Barnstaple. The dustjacket is in lovely condition and has a protective cover - no creases or tears and very slight edgewear. However, it is priceclipped, and the dustjacket also has some biro marking within the T of OUT. "Do Look Out, Noddy" is listed No. 15 on the rear inner flap - last on the list.A great opportunity to purchase this book in a condition that is very hard to find.

Description:
Lovely copy of E. B. White's first children's book, originally published in 1945.The book is in excellent condition, with a slight bump to the base of the spine, and a tidy ex libris sticker. The boards are plain tan with black text to the spine. The book appears to be unread. The beautifully illustrated dust-wrapper is by the famous artist Garth Williams, whose illustrations are throughout the book. This was his first commission as an illustrator. The dust-wrapper is price-clipped and slightly faded in colour to the spine. The blurb on the dust-wrapper front flap references Charlotte's Web, which dates the publication to post-1952, and the publisher is named as Harper and Row, which pushes the publication further forward to post-1962 when separate publishers amalgamated. Not the earliest edition then, but still a beautiful copy of a classic book.

Description:
A very nice copy of a first edition of this 1983 new edition, illustrated by John Burningham in black and white with 12 colour plates. The pale green/beige boards have silver text to the spine, and pale blue to the inner boards. The corners and the top and bottom of the spine have no bumps - just a small indentation to the side of the spine near its base.Burningham's delightful colour illustrations are all in excellent condition. There is some smudging and browning to the edges of the page-block, otherwise the book would be classed as Fine. There are no markings or inscriptions. The unclipped glossy dust-wrapper shows the price at £7.95 and has hardly any edge-wear and no tears, just a couple of small creases and minimal browning to the internal edges of the flaps. All in all, a lovely book in better than Very Good condition.
