Problem: Light edge wear to dust jacket top spine and at folds PLUS a pale "scratch" back DJ panel. Better than it sounds. B&W maps, photos, sketches, drawings. The end pages detail the route the Albans took from Scotland to the Hudson Bay. CONTENT: This book presents a portrait of the Albans, a seafaring tribe who originated in the country now known as Scotland. Battered by repeated Celtic, Norse and Roman invasions, the Albans fled west, first to Iceland, then to Greenland and finally across the Atlantic to Canada.
