Notes on Condition: This is an old book that is over 100 years old so it does show some signs of wear. One of the front endpapers has writing from a previous owner dating back to 1898. The covers have some fading and shelf wear along the edges especially around the spine. The pages also have a few minor tears, some stains and some yellowing from age. Overall, however, this a great antique book of Longfellow's poems!

Ramom House; New York, 1948. First edition, first printing (stated first printing on copyright page). Hardcover with dust jacket. Book comes with a quick preview pamphlet written by John P. Marquand.
Notes on Condition: This book has some signs of minor signs of wear due to age but overall it is great condition. The dust jacket has some edgewear and a few tears on the front and back panels along with the spine. The boards are in great condition with no bumps or damage. The pages are also in great condition with only a few very minor stains/marks and no tears. There is no writting or highlighted pages from previous owners in this book. This is a great clean copy!

Charles Scribner's Sons; New York 1943. Blue hardcover with NO dust jacket. Later edition with 1943 on the title page. This is not a first edition copy since the letter "A" is not indicated on the copyright page.

Notes on Condition: This book has some wear from age and use. The front cover has some stains and signs of fading and the back cover has been bumped in the upper left corner. The textblock and top and bottom edges have some signs of wear and use. The pages are in decent condition with a few minor stains and creases. There are no known tears, writitng or highlights in the book.

Notes on Condition: The words on the title have been rubbed off and the boards show some fading and wear from age. There are some spots on the covers and some markings. The front free endpaper has a couple newspaper clippings about Will James that have been pasted there from previous owners. The pages are in pretty good condition with the exception of some yellowing to the pages from age and a few very minor tears and creases on the pages. There is no writing or highlights in the book.

Quinlan Press; Boston, MA 1988. Harcover with dust jacket. First edition, signed and inscribed "To Grant Wally Schirra."
Notes on Condition: The dust jacket has some wear along the upper and lower edges and there is a piece of tape on the spine and back of the book. It also has a few tears on the front panel and the spine. The dust jacket has not been price clipped, the original $16.95 is still intact on the back flap. The back board has some minor damage from being bumped on the upper corner and the spine. The inside of the book is in great used condition with no highlights, pen marks (besides the inscription), folded corners, creases or tears. This is a great clean copy!
