London. 2007 (Second Printing). 4to, XVII 179pp. Hardcover in blue cloth with top edge blue, and with silver and crimson gilt titling and decoration to front and spine inoverall pristine condition in a blue slipcase that is likewise in unmarked, fine condition, text on Morzine Wove paper printed and bound in Germany. Frontis. and all eleven coloured illustrations are as tipped in etchings and are in perfect order with no tissue guards as issued. The book is devoid of all browning and foxing with no extraneous prior owner markings either. Plus the beautiful decorated light blue unmarked endpapers are intact on a firm uncracked spine (despite the size of the text-block). This text follows an important 1911 edition by Hodder and Stoughton with minor emendations.

Tiny bookseller label attached to front paste-down and ffep non price-clipped. One of the INSIDE series written about transport in the 60's and written in close collaboration with the Technical Press Section of the London Transport Board, this is certainly one for the hardened enthusiast with useful illustrations in red and b/w throughout but it is still a very approachable volume nevertheless.

Fyshwick - Australia 1991 (First Edition). 8vo, XII 378pp. Glossy soft pictorial cover in mottled cream with period sepia photo under title done in old English script with a firm title-less spine in fair condition with damaged corners on front and rear covers and a clear oil stain to the the bottom spine corner that infiltrates the underelying interior pages and no d/w as issued, text and all the detailed b/w photos within, remain in excellent condition devoid of underlinings and notations. All information has been provided by members of the Roche family and descendents collated into an engrossing detailed account of a family whose antecendants first left Ireland over now 150 years ago and this book really flowered from a huge international family reunion held in Binalong NSW in 1988. An invaluable record and example for all geneologists.
