Slight fading, but an exquisite copy. A possibly unique image of San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts just before completion. This wonderful building was designed in the romantic style of Hellenism by Bernard Maybeck for the Panama Pacific International Exposition (1915). The Palace is the only building of the Exposition retained on the site. It began to go to pieces but was reconstructed with permanent materials in the 1960's.
