Description:
Poster on thin glossy paper with old fold at center. Color photo of babies and nurse by Pagano. Fine except for fold. The Institute for American Democracy was a interdenominational group campaigning for tolerance and anti-discrimination active during and after WW2. In 1948 the California Un-american Activities committee listed them as a possible Communist front because of their connection to the Jewish Anti-Defamation League (ADL). Somehow encouraging tolerance was considered un American.

Description:
A collection as found in a folder of 67 pieces of original abstract designs done by 2 women. The work is either collage with construction papers or very colorful pastel designs. This probably dated from the 1930's to early 1950. Almost every piece is signed by either artist. I could not find any info on either artist and Moscow, Utah was a mine in the 20th century. The artwork is really striking.
