Description:
The Readers Library, 1925. Good. [n.d. c.1925.] 8vo. Maroon cloth with gilt blocked lettering and elaborate design to spine and upper board. Lean to spine, rubbed. Tanned edges and text block, as expected with age. With the ecclesiastical, gothic endpapers, it's likely this is one of the earlier printings in the series, which ran from 1924-35 (Series of a Series blog). Alas, lacking the lurid DJ.
