1940. FASCISM. Gioventù italiana del littorio. 71 pp., illustrated throughout with photographs. Folio, 270 x 220 mm., bound in publisher's decorative paper boards in original photographic dust jacket, preserved in a new folding box. Rome: Pressedienst des Generalkommandos della G.I.L., 1940. A scarce Italian photobook given over to glorifying fascist youth and their glorious leader, Mussolini. As is often the case with these books, the dramatic photography and layout display an imagination, which was totally lacking in the subject matter. Crack in the front board, otherwise a fine copy. OCLC lists only one copy, in the Bayerische Staatsbibiothek.
