This image appears as a half page illustration in the above story in the volume 'Rikki-Tikki-Tavi and Other Animal Stories' by Rudyard Kipling, page 124 (published Macmillan 1984). Mounted and protected under clear removable plastic film, Keeping's printed label on reverse with caption in his hand: "The brown baby was crowing". Image clean and bright. Offered with 2 brief handwritten letters to the recipient of the drawing who had asked Keeping to donate a signed book for a charity auction.
