Description:
Original in very good condition including all fold out cross sections and maps. It was bound into library boards using tape at the Harvard University Library of Comparative Zoology. Cover bears library embossing. Marked as number 43,932 and a gift from Samuel Henshaw, March 22, 1916. This is probably the same Henshaw who was director of the Museum from 1912-1927. Although the book itself is in very good condition, the edges of the library boards are frayed and edges are missing.
This is an original with some historical significance and is priced accordingly.
