Photo composition proof completed by Redwood Burn Limited. Spiral bound with paper wraps. Front cover is detached and some spirals damaged or missing (see image). The work was later published in 1980. Mild foxing to covers. Peter Padfield published predominantly naval history during WWII. Pagination runs to 302 with two printed per page. No previous owners' names or other markings.

Original quarter vellum over paper-covered boards. Woodcut initials and tail-piece; engravings throughout including fine full page images. The two works are paged separately but signed continuously (the first ending at Ii3,verso). Same collation as Getty copy but for Index Rerum which is placed at the end in this copy. Inscription of Abbot Dominic Fontanini (in Italian) to front fly describing the author's Monarchia Occidentalis series; two nicks in spine, else a fine copy.

Inscribed by the author to the front fly dated 1997. Pictorial paper wraps. Pandolfini, a national master, was the chess consultant to The Queen's Gambit and retruned to consult the Netflix show of the same name. Minor crease to top right corner, but otherwise a nice clean copy without any previous owners' names.

Sketch painting in gouache on paper of an untitled seated nude female figure. 15 1/4 x 23 3/4 inches. The artist, Len Paoletti, predominantly lived and worked in Provincetown, MA as well as Fort Lauderdale, FL. His subjects tended to be of the LGBTQ community but occasionally painted subjects who's sexuality was unknown.

Original magazine cover by Maxfield Parrish for Collier's in unusually nice condition: no tearing, water marks or stains. The magazine was published and distributed in 1910 but the painting itself has the year 1908.
