A very nice vintage dustjacket advertising the film adaptation "Lady of Burlesque" starring Barbara Stanwyck. The jacket is protected in plastic, and the book itself is unmarked and in great condition. Gypsy Rose Lee (born Rose Louise Hovick, 1911 – 1970) was an American burlesque entertainer famous for her striptease act. She also wrote several books and some plays - this is her first. Her memoir was adapted into the 1959 stage musical "Gypsy."
