Like new. Has the map inside.

With the classic illustrations!.

Books are overall in good condition. The fellowship is in the worst condirion. Has been reglued on spine and doesnt have a map. It has a inscription on front-free endpage. The spine has a few stains and there are some small stains on boards. The condition is fresh inside. Two towers book is in good condition has small tanning low down on spine and some browning and a small inscription with date on front-free endpage otherwise the book is in good condition and has its map intact. The dust-jacket which has third impression stated is in 3 pieces and only a small part of the spine is still left. The flap on the front-part of the jacket has also gone up quite a bit. Return of the king which is a second impression is in good condition and hassome small now dry previous moisture-damage on spine. Going also slightly in places on boards. The back part of jacket flap is still left but only that. The map is still intact in that book.

Has some glitter in different places on boards. Thimese has been taken off to make them less which has left some scuffs. I would grade this in fair condition. No slipcase

With the classic illustrations. has some small wear and fat-stains including a small fat stain on one board. Beautiful inside though with a built in book marker.

A really nice set. Fellowship has some tears on jacket that has been closed with some tape on inside. The two towers dust-jacket is excellent with a small closed tear on front of jacket. Return of the king also excellent with a blue stain on back of jacket. All the books are in great condition with vibrant gilt and no writing with intact maps in very good conditions. Return of the king book has a stain if looked from up to down on outside of pages. A very nice set.

Great condition. Has small mark low doen on back from previous price. Sturdy binding.

The dust-jacket is in good condition. Has price that has been taken off. The book has some moisture-damage from outside which has made the gilt lessen and also left marks on top of book.

Fellowship is 3rd impression the two towers stated second but with date on only one place so third impression. All books have stains on boards. Two towers date in one place. The fellowship has a map although it is loose. It has some wear where it has started going up a bit. The binding isnt 100% tight but holds upp pretty well. It has a name on front-free endpage and some info of Silmarillion glued on the inside of another front-free endpage. It also has a larger stain on low part of the outer part of the pages. The pages are otherwise fresh. Fellowship is in fair condition.The two towers is in good condition. It has some wear lower down but has an intact map and is in good condition overall. Has some tape restoration on two pages inside and some smaller tears inside. Name on front-free endpage. Maps are there and present. Back has fallen off a bit but is still attached. An extremely sought after first ever Tolkien translation into any language
