Description:
18 th c Approx 9 meters by 21 cm in Ottoman Turkish Ta'liq (Farisi) script consists of 56 folding pages (Muraqqa'a) Possibly written by the calligrapher, Ali el Misli's, him self. Folding genealogical manuscript, numbered in 28 lvs beginning with the ancient Turks during Noah and Abraham's era passing with the Turk Khans until the Ottoman Sultan Ertugrul Gazi. The calligrapher was the grand son of Ishak Zade Mehmed Zuhuri Efendi. He was known with his fast and fine Ta'liq script. He was learned the Ta'liq from Durmus Zade and practiced calligraphy for approx. 60 years. He dead in 1189 AH. 1775 AD. (Mustakim Zade; Tuhfe-i Hattatin p. 694 And Habib Efendi' Hat ve Hattatan p. 240)
