[Original artwork]., [1968].. Pen and ink drawing forming the front and rear cover design for Goodall's book The Adventures of Paddy Pork (1968), depicting the eponymous Paddy skipping down a country lane to a fairground (right-hand side/front cover) and a village scene with other anthropomorphised animal inhabitants (left-hand side/rear cover). To the left is a blank space for the book's titles to be placed; here the faint traces of titles in pencil can be seen but have been subsequently rubbed-out by the artist. The image measuring 38 x 14.5cm. Signed by the artist in ink to the lower left ("John S. Goodall").
