Spine with gilt thick and thin ruled and piped lines and oval centre pieces. Red morocco label, gilt. Marbled paper on boards. Edges a bit rubbed and bumped and small amount of chipping to the edges of the label, not affecting the lettering, but generally a very good copy.

Publishers red cloth with black lettering to the front board and spine. In the original full colour dustwrapper with price ($5.95) still intact. The authors first novel. Released as a feature film in 1979.

A few pages with light foxing but overall a clean and fine set which has been finely bound in recent full dark blue morocco leather, spines with five raised bands, gilt. Red title and name labels, gilt. Spines with lettering and rampant lion device stamped in gilt. Single gilt ruled borders on boards. All edges gilt. Fine. A fantastic presentation of this important set.

Lupus Music. 1969. FIRST EDITION. 8vo. (8.7 x 5.6 inches). A very good, bright copy in the pictorial boards which show a black and white photo portrait of Bolan. Front board and spine lettered in white. In the original dustwrapper which reproduces the boards. Just a hint of rubbing to the extremities of the boards and some creases to the edges of the wrapper but overall a very good copy throughout.

Martin Lester, Limited. Dublin. 1919. FIRST EDITION. 8vo. (7.4 x 5.1 inches). Very good copy in publishers green cloth, spine lettered in black. With the extremely rare original colour illustrated dustwrapper. Front panel with illustration by Matthew W. Barry. Spine, which is a bit dulled, lettered in green (price 7/- net). Rear panel with publishers advert. Small (7 x 3 mm) hole to the bottom of the spine otherwise a very good bright example of the rare wrapper. A lovely copy of this powerful novel, set against the background of the 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin.

A hint of fading to the spine but overall a lovely copy in a fine binding. The binding is unsigned but certainly the work of a master bookbinder.

Compartments ruled and lettered in gilt. Blue cloth on boards. Marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. Previous owners bookplate, dated 1948, on front blank free endpaper. Some minor fading to the very top of the cloth on the boards but overall a near fine, highly attractive copy of this Victorian classic.

Near fine copy, beautifully illustrated with 12 full colour, tipped in plates, each with a printed tissue guard. Scores of wonderful line illustrations throughout text. Original dark green cloth, the front board with gilt illustration and lettering. The spine has gilt ruling and lettering. Previous owners neat inscription, dated "Xmas 1929" on front paste down endpaper. Overall a fine, bright and clean copy of this beautiful book.

Finely bound in early twentieth century half tan calf leather binding by Riviere. Spine with five raised bands, each with gilt piping. Compartments ruled, decorated and lettered in gilt. Tan cloth on boards. Marbled endpapers. Top edge gilt. A little rubbing to the corners but overall a very good, highly attractive copy of this Victorian classic.

Copy number 61 of just 92 copies reserved for La Librairie des Éditions, out of 189 copies in the total edition. A fine copy with the page edges still uncut. Publishers white paper wraps printed in blue and black. Original glassine around the wraps. A lovely copy, and scarce in such nice condition, of the first printing of Beckett's translation. Although written during 1944, Watt wasn't published until 1953 and it was another 15 years before he completed this much anticipated French translation.

This limited edition was issued with an original screenprint loosely inserted but it is not present in this copy. Large 8vo. (10.7.6 inches). Colour printed frontis, with tissue guard, and several mono illustrations throughout the text. Publishers red cloth biding with silver lettering to the spine. A fine copy in a fine dustwrapper which has two photographs by Nancy Dine on the panels.

Printed at the Trigram Press, London, in four colours. 8pp, plus colour printed laminated card covers, designed by Paul Vaughan, and frosted paper wraps with the title printed in blue to the front. The whole booklet is held together with the original white metal clasp spine. First page with a Buckminster Fuller design, printed in bright yellow and with red lettering, the other pages printed in blue and showing detailed diagrams of four of his invented construction ideas. A sharp and bright copy of this rare edition.

This is a fine copy of Milne's first children's book in the publishers blue cloth with gilt lettering and illustrations. Illustrated endpapers. Top edge gilt. The book looks unread. In a very good original illustrated dustwrapper which has some chipping to top and tail of spine, which is also a little toned. Overall a highly desirable copy of Milne's children's classic.

Henry and Co. London. 1893. FIRST EDITION. Octavo. Original blue buckram, lettered in gilt. Housed in a custom green cloth slipcase and chemise. Small bookplate to front pastedown, related bibiliographic material pasted to endpapers. Shaw's very scarce first play, published in an edition, according to Laurence, of "not more than 500" copies. It was not an overwhelming bestseller. Shaw wrote to John Lane (quoted in Laurence) that the publisher "never advertised it even once; and the sale, which was only effected by great perseverance & determination on the part of the purchasers, was 150 copies." When the publisher retired in December 1897, they ceded to Shaw 194 sets of unbound sheets, which Shaw claimed to have commissioned Sotheran & Co. to bind for him. A fine copy of this beautiful book, the first detailed study of the remote regions of Oman from Musandam in the north, to the Hajar Mountains, Dhofar and the Empty Quarter, via the coastline that extends some 1,000 miles. --- Only 3 copies listed on Worldcat, in Oman, UAE, and Lebanon.

Some minor foxing to the fore edges but this is a lovely clean and unread copy, with some page gatherings still unopened. In the rare original fawn paper dustwrapper which reproduces the designs and lettering on the book in red. Publishers adverts on the Inner flaps. Some darkening to the spine and chipping to the edges but overall a very good example and rare thus.
